NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATION, HOPE FOR KIDS IN HO VOLTA REGION-GHANA WEST AFRICA, IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE VILLAGE COMMUNITY AND ASSISTANCE TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Non-governmental organisation HOPE FOR KIDS is a Ghanaian based NGO working for the community and children with disability in the Volta Region (Ho) a remote village in Ghana, providing assistance to Children and Young People with Disabilities, unites on a voluntary basis, more than 3500 families which look after children and young people with psychophysical disabilities. NGO ‘’HOPE FOR KIDS’’ comprises 52 members and 9 Executive members. These organisational structure includes auditors, project management specialist and social workers who are helping to develop and provide sustainable future for this children with disability.
The organisation was founded in 2012.

From the very beginning of its activity, NGO “HOPE FOR KIDS” has been initiating the creation of the system of assistance to families which look after children with psychophysical disabilities in the Volta Region village of Ghana (HO): early assistance, available preschool and school education, job placement and employment, supported living.
NGO “HOPE FOR KIDS” closely cooperates with the parents and the members of the community and also state bodies of the Republic of Ghana to achieve above mentioned aim: with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the Ministry of Health; with local administrations and other institutions. We have been supported by the members of the community when we carry out these activities and realise socially important projects.
